matthew even though it feels like were a 1,000 years away from each other i'll never forget you as long as i live. cant wait to see you in heaven. we had this bond... everyone always said we look, sound, and act the same and and now when i at my self i see you i guess thats a good thing haha

Hello my name is Andrew David Paupst and im the little brother of Matthew James Paupst as you know he died 2 years ago from his heart sickness and it was bad. My Grammy don started this web site even though i never got the address....o well.My memory of matt is not really a good one. The day of his funarul i saw alot of people cry. A girl that i know who also knows matt was there..... i was in love with her and i saw her cry. as i sat there looking at her it fell like a bullet going thru my heart over and over again and i will never forget that sight.

Matt's heart attack in Feb 99, was tough for both our families. We thought we were going to loose our "Mattey Jim" as Pop Pop Ryder would call him. But he pulled thru a week or more of test and more test and a trip to Boston to have a difribulating pacemzker installed and he stood in front of Hasbro Children's hospital with is hair slicked back and his jean's jacket collar up with Mom and Dad about 10 days after his "heart attack", he was a walking miracle waiting to go home... God is good.. I will never forget that image ever, love you always Matt..

Matt had his  "Heart atttack" on Feb 1,1999. I got a phone call from his Mom, she was beside herself with emotion. She told me to come to Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket, RI . I had never been there but somehow followed her hastely prepared directions and found my way. When I got there I asked about Matt, and said who I was. They said to be ware of what he may look like right now, and I said "I worked in a hospital, so I was ok". Then I saw Christine coming towards my crying, "Matt died Mom.....no breath...but...they brought him back...I took a deep breath..He was in tough shape, but alive and on his way to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI...one of the worst days of our lives in our little family. By 5p.m Grammy Dot was here from Pa and Matt was holding his own in ICU..God is good....to be continued...
